Our RV Park and campground offers a rustic outdoor experience where guests can enjoy RV sites with full hookups, tent camping, and cabin rentals. We are on the south side of Mount St. Helens in southwest Washington and provide an ideal base camp for travelers exploring the Pacific Northwest. Come experience some of the best camping in Washington State.
Meet Steve & Stacey
For several years, Steve and Stacey tossed around the idea of owning an RV Park/Campground. Knowing they wanted a lifestyle change, it was time to make their dream come true.
May 1, 2018: marked the beginning of that dream and a new adventure as they became the new owners of Cougar RV Park & Campground.
MAY 2024: We just celebrated our sixth year of ownership. We have upgraded many tent sites to now include electricity, updated the shower stalls, expanded the camp store and many other changes. We no longer allow long-term (residency) stays but do have a few limited spots available for traveling nurses and other traveling workers to the area.
Guests who return every year have noticed significant changes/improvements and have provided feedback to help guide us to where attention is needed. We still have many projects we want to tackle and are working each day to get them completed! We'd love for you to come and stay with us and see for yourself the changes we have made!

Rustic Camping With Real Hospitality
We are a small business operated by a husband and wife team; we do not have employees. Therefore, we "DO NOT" spend much time sitting in an office. We seem to always be doing projects, helping campground guests, cleaning the facilities, or running errands (we too must grocery shop, attend to doctor appointments, pick up campground supplies and camp store items, etc.). So if we do not answer the phone, please leave your message clearly, including a callback number and we will return your call.
